That prevents problems before they turn into downtime, data loss, or expensive repairs.

Outdated software and missed updates can leave computers vulnerable to viruses, malware, security breaches, and performance issues. Even programs that seem unrelated to security — such as web browsers, Adobe software, Java, and productivity applications — can create vulnerabilities when they are not properly maintained.

To help my clients stay ahead of these issues, I offer a Remote Managed Maintenance and Monitoring service that proactively monitors the health and security of their computer systems. My software runs quietly on your computer, keeping me informed of changes, alerting me to critical issues, and keeping your Windows operating system and third-party apps up to date as soon as these updates are available.

This service includes:

• Monitoring Windows and software updates
• Notifications of newly installed software or updates that may require attention
• Firewall and antivirus monitoring
• Alerts if antivirus definitions are out of date or scans have been missed
• Notifications if viruses or malware are detected
• Problem detection and prevention before issues become major failures
• Monitoring CPU, RAM, and memory usage to help maintain system performance
• Tracking unusual system behavior or hardware-related concerns
• Ongoing monitoring of system processes to help keep your computer healthy and responsive

By continually monitoring your computer, I can often identify and address potential problems before they cause downtime, slow performance, data loss, or security concerns.

Managed Windows Updates (Security, Patches, etc.) - We will check for and install any necessary Windows updates for your computer. Typically, Microsoft releases new updates on the second Tuesday of each month. Occasionally, there are emergency updates out of that cycle. We will check daily for updates and apply as necessary.

Managed third-party app updates - We check daily for updates to third-party apps and install updates as necessary for your computer.

Anti-virus Monitored - We continuously monitor Microsoft Defender, and we are notified if your anti-virus definitions are out of date or if any viruses, malware, or potentially unwanted programs are found on your computer. If found, we will take action to remove the viruses, malware, or potentially unwanted programs from your computer. If any issues are found, you will be billed at the normal remote service rate to remove and repair your computer.

*A one-time set-up fee of $30.00 will be invoiced separately.
