How to Download and Install LogMeIn Resolve (Remote Support)
Don’t worry — I’ll guide you if you need help. Just follow these steps.
Step 1: Open Your Internet Browser
Look for Chrome, Edge, or Firefox on your screen.
Double-click it to open.
Step 2: Go to the Download Page
Click once in the address bar at the top of the browser.
Click on the link below:
Step 3: Enter the Support Code
You’ll see a box asking for a 6-digit support code.
Type in the code I gave you.
Click Start Session or Connect.
Step 4: Download the Support File
Your computer will ask to download a small file.
Click Download, Save, or Run (any of these are OK).
This file is safe and only allows temporary access for this support session.
Step 5: Open the Downloaded File
When the download finishes:
Click the file at the bottom of your browser
OROpen your Downloads folder and double-click the file.
If a message appears asking “Do you want to allow this app to make changes?”, click Yes.
Step 6: You’re Connected
The program will open automatically.
I’ll be able to see your screen and help you right away.
Just relax — you can watch everything I do.
When the Session Is Over
The connection automatically closes.
I cannot access your computer again unless you start another session.
