How to Download and Install LogMeIn Resolve (Remote Support)

Don’t worry — I’ll guide you if you need help. Just follow these steps.

Step 1: Open Your Internet Browser

  1. Look for Chrome, Edge, or Firefox on your screen.

  2. Double-click it to open.

Step 2: Go to the Download Page

  1. Click once in the address bar at the top of the browser.

  2. Click on the link below:

Step 3: Enter the Support Code

  1. You’ll see a box asking for a 6-digit support code.

  2. Type in the code I gave you.

  3. Click Start Session or Connect.

Step 4: Download the Support File

  1. Your computer will ask to download a small file.

  2. Click Download, Save, or Run (any of these are OK).

This file is safe and only allows temporary access for this support session.

Step 5: Open the Downloaded File

  1. When the download finishes:

    • Click the file at the bottom of your browser
      OR

    • Open your Downloads folder and double-click the file.

  2. If a message appears asking “Do you want to allow this app to make changes?”, click Yes.

Step 6: You’re Connected

  1. The program will open automatically.

  2. I’ll be able to see your screen and help you right away.

  3. Just relax — you can watch everything I do.

When the Session Is Over

  • The connection automatically closes.

  • I cannot access your computer again unless you start another session.
